Find Tyreen

Make your way towards the large Vault in order to find Tyreen.

Defeat Tyreen the Destroyer

Like her brother, Tyreen the Destroyer does not feature a shield, so you’ll want to pick a weapon that has a high DPS and thrives in medium to long-range encounters. The likes of a powerful Assault Rifle or SMG would be ideal.

When it comes to defeating Tyreen, you will want to always aim for her head as this is the weakest spot on her body.

Upon shooting Tyreen, she will fire a laser beam from her eyes that will track your movement. This attack is rather slow, so it is easy to avoid by moving in a sidewards direction and staying in front of her head.

Staying alert and watching for Tyreen’s next attack is highly important, as little movements such as lifting her hands and slamming the ground will indicate that several rows of crystals are about to come your way. These rows of crystals can be avoided by moving side to side, much like avoiding Troy’s purple energy balls.

It’s also important to note that Tyreen will occasionally lift her right hand and throw out a large crystal-like rock towards your direction. This crystal can be avoided by either moving out of the way or shooting it. She will also occasionally launch several fireballs in the area.

Once you have dealt enough damage to Tyreen, she will collapse to the ground. During this particular phase, she will become immune, and you will need to climb up onto her back – via her extended leg – and shoot her directly in the top of the head.

This will cause Tyreen to become stunned and come out of hiding. Take full advantage of this phase by using your special ability to deal as much damage as possible. This will often remove a somewhat decent amount of damage from her health bar.

After this phase occurs, Tyreen will fly into the air and launch a giant fireball that shoots out several lasers. You will need to dodge these incoming lasers by moving between the gaps.

Just as Tyreen is almost dead, she will launch one final new attack in your direction. This attack features two massive fireballs with lasers in between them. These balls will roll towards your direction, and you will need to dodge the lasers strategically as they near you.

Quick Tips and Tricks for Defeating Tyreen the Destroyer

  • Constantly move and jump in a clockwise/anti-clockwise direction around the arena.
  • Always aim for Tyreen’s head, as this is the weakest part of her body.
  • When Tyreen has collapsed, use your characters special ability to deal as much damage as possible.
  • The Varkids that spawn throughout the fight are a great way to achieve your second wind due to their low hitpoints.
  • Try not to panic and take risky moves as Tyreen the Destroy isn’t as difficult as she may initially seem.
